Louvretec Australia has taken home the Product Innovation Award at the inaugural Window Shading Association of Australia (WSAA) Industry Awards, held at the WSAA Gala Dinner on Thursday, 11 June 2026, on the Gold Coast, as part of SuperExpo 2026.
What We Submitted
Our winning entry, titled "One Louvre Blade, Two Patio Roof Systems: A Unified Louvre Solution", showcased the 220/45 Alpine Blade: a single louvre profile engineered to work across two distinct patio roof systems.
The entry highlighted how a single blade design can serve multi-patio roof projects without compromising performance or aesthetics, reflecting Louvretec's approach to product development: fewer components, more capability.
It also highlighted the Alpine Louvre’s performance in demanding environmental conditions. Durability in harsh Australian climates with coastal salt air, UV exposure, and heat and alpine conditions was also a core part of the submission, demonstrating that the blade is built for long-term performance in the environments for your specific wind zone and span requirements.
